Nonprofit Organization
The Evan J. Baron Foundation was established with a profound purpose: to commemorate the enduring love for music that defined Evan's life. Evan, who tragically lost his life on 9/11 in the World Trade Center, left behind a legacy illuminated by his passion for music. The foundation, recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization, ensures that any contribution made to them is tax deductible.
Supporting Musical Aspirations
In honor of Evan's memory, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of music enthusiasts through our scholarship program. Our foundation proudly awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who, like Evan, possess an exceptional ardor for music and seek to pursue their musical aspirations in college.
Scholarships
At present, these scholarships are exclusively granted to students of Holmdel High School, our alma mater, forging a meaningful connection to Evan's own journey. The essence of our mission lies in preserving Evan's spirit and dedication to music, ensuring that his memory continues to resonate through the lives of young musicians.
Empowering Future Musicians
Each year, Holmdel High School students share poignant essays detailing how music has influenced and inspired them, showcasing their profound connection to the art form. From these heartfelt narratives, we select two to three deserving recipients to receive our scholarships, empowering them to pursue their musical dreams with confidence and determination.
The Power of Music
At the Evan J. Baron Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of music and its ability to transcend boundaries, uplift spirits, and forge lasting connections. Join us and contribute as we celebrate Evan's passion for music and embark on a journey to keep his memory alive through the support of young musicians.
